YELLOWBATCommon questions, and a real person at the end of an email.
A manager sends you an invite link. Tap it and you land on the roster — you can sign up afterwards and the invite waits for you. Rosters are invite-only in both directions, so nobody adds themselves.
No. A backyard game needs no league, no roster and no setup — pick sides from whoever showed up and start scoring. Guests who never install the app still appear in the box score.
No. Every feature is free today, with no subscription and no in-app purchase. If that ever changes we will tell you before anything you are using starts costing money.
CABLN Group LLC, a small Connecticut company. We build and run the app; your league is run by its own commissioner. The terms of use set out where that line falls.
Competition staff, and in an open competition any manager of a participating team. The other side confirms it. If nobody responds within the confirmation window, it posts automatically — so standings never freeze because one person stopped opening the app.
Dispute it and the commissioner rules. A commissioner is the only role that can correct a score that has already gone final.
We cannot change a score for you. Scores, standings and records belong to the competition and the people running it, and stepping into someone's league to overrule a result is not a thing we do.
Check the box score for the game in question first — career numbers are added up from box scores, so a wrong total almost always traces back to one game's line. Whoever may keep score for that game can correct it, and the totals follow. If the game is right and the total is still wrong, email us; that one is ours.
No. Tap runs in as they score and you get a final score. Log at-bats and you also get a box score. Both produce the same statistics.
No. Leaving closes the membership rather than deleting it, so the games you played stay on your player page as career history.
A bracket refuses to draw while any group-stage game is unfinished, because seeds that change after the draw are worse than a draw that waits. Finish or remove the outstanding games and it will go.
Grant them admin on the competition. Commissioner is scoped per competition rather than globally, so it gives them nothing anywhere else.
Grant another commissioner before you go, and the competition carries on without interruption. If you have already left and a league is stranded, email us with the competition name and we will help find a hand-off.
In the app: Profile → Settings → Delete account. It takes effect immediately and you do not need to ask anyone.
Your profile, photo, comments, follows and blocks are removed. Game records and standings remain as part of the competition's public history, no longer tied to your profile. The privacy page has the full line-by-line.
Yes, and you do not have to ask us for the copy. Settings → Request my data builds it there and then — your profile, your teams, every game you appeared in, who you follow and what you have written — and hands it straight to you. For a correction, a deletion you would rather we did, or an explanation of what we hold, email us and say what you want. We do this for everyone regardless of where you live, and we may ask you to confirm you are who you say you are first.
Email us with the name and the team or competition and we will take them out. You do not need an account to ask, and we will not ask you to make one. Accounts are 13 and over; a younger child in a box score is a name an adult entered, and a parent can have it removed.
Use the password reset on the sign-in screen; the mail arrives from our authentication provider and sometimes lands in spam. If the address on the account is one you no longer have, email us from any address and tell us the username.
Every comment can be reported, and anyone can be blocked. Blocking hides their comments from you and stops them notifying you. Team managers and competition commissioners can remove comments in their own patch.
If someone is in danger, contact your local emergency services first — we are an app and cannot help in the moment. Then email us with what happened and any usernames involved, and we will act on the account side.
Email us with a link to where it appears and what it is. Copyright complaints and the counter-notice process are described in the terms of use.
Email us with your device and iOS version, what you were doing, what you expected, and what happened instead. A screenshot is worth a paragraph. If it involves a specific game or competition, include its name — we can find it from that.
Scores travel over a realtime connection, so a spotty field signal will stall the other devices watching. The device keeping score holds the truth; once it reconnects, everyone else catches up. Nothing is lost by locking the phone mid-game.
Still stuck?
Tell us what happened and what you expected, and we will get back to you.
